Li Jiyuan is Professor and Master Supervisor at the School of Physical Education, Hangzhou Normal University, and a leading scholar in traditional ethnic sports. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship in physical education at Soochow University. His research focuses on the history and culture of Wushu.
Professor Li has led major research projects, including Collation and Research on Rare Chinese Wushu Literature from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has authored several influential monographs such as Research on Lingnan Wushu Culture and Research on Wushu History of the Ming Dynasty. These works have contributed significantly to the scholarly foundation underpinning this volume.
