This second edition of the atlas builds on the foundation of the Visible Korean project, which set a new standard in neuroanatomy with approximately 300 thin-sectioned images of the human head—captured at 2 mm or 4 mm intervals with a pixel size of 0.1 × 0.1 mm—and fully annotated in the axial, coronal, and sagittal planes using the AC–PC reference system. In this updated edition, the number of axial sectioned images has been doubled, reducing the interval to 1 mm or 2 mm for greater anatomical detail. Structural annotations have been meticulously refined, with revised labels enhancing accuracy and clarity.
