This book examines the transformation of BRICS+ within a rapidly changing global order. It explores how emerging powers, regional actors and Global South partnerships are reshaping debates on multipolarity, development, security and global governance. The chapters span key regions and policy areas, including the Middle East and the Gulf, Africa, the Arctic, and wider Eurasian spaces. They analyse how states seek greater strategic autonomy, diversify their international partnerships and respond to the limits of United States- and Europe-centred frameworks. By bringing together contributors from established and emerging research communities, the volume offers a regionally diverse and policy-relevant account of contemporary geopolitical change. It will be of interest to scholars, students, and practitioners working on BRICS, BRICS+, the Global South, emerging powers, international relations, development cooperation, security studies, and the future of the global order.

Ferhat Cagri Aras, PhD, is Associate Professor of International Relations at Karadeniz Technical University, Türkiye. His research focuses on South Asian politics, foreign policy, security studies, development cooperation and emerging powers.

Hussein Solomon is Senior Professor in the Centre for Gender and Africa Studies at the University of the Free State, South Africa. He was previously Head of the Department of Political Studies and Governance.

Monojit Das, PhD, is an independent geopolitical analyst and registered advocate with the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council. His work focuses on national security, strategic affairs, academic exchange and institutional collaboration.
