A Lexicon of Innovations used in Media Arabic

Due to an intensive interaction with rest of the world in consequence of the globalization, the Arabic language is rapidly changing its syntax, lexicon and style. Hundreds of lexemes are borrowed from modern Arabic and not registered in modern dictionaries. This Lexicon: This lexicon was compiled based on material not found in Wehrs Dictionary (English Edition 1995) but which has become widespread in the media. It does, however, include some words or terms that are found in Wehr, but they appear here only to explain wider linguistic developments. Only words and terms that appear regularly in the media and have become public knowledge are included. The Lexicon is arranged according to the Arabic root. The root will be followed by words derived from this root or by compound nouns that contain the same root. The Arabic will be followed by transcription of it in Latin letters. This lexicon will be followed by a complementary book. In it I will explain and analyze the innovation in Media Arabic. The book on hand is presenting the research results about this phenomenon and its origins.
