The Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is the largest mountain pasture in Europe, and one of the most beautifully scenic plateaus in the Dolomites. Michael Trocker has been exploring the Alpe di Siusi in all its facets for decades: Landscape, fauna and flora are his passion. A natural-light photographer, the moments he captures have a profoundly mystical, fasci-nating and moving quality. This photographic book portrays the beauty of a unique land-scape in all four seasons. The images are accompanied by insightful texts from Inga Hosp and Jul Bruno Laner, some which inspire us to reflect and some which bring a smile to our lips.
