Timber buildings

Beschreibung

New systems of building with solid wood have allowed architects to exploit new form and language possibilities including refined, finely detailed architectural desgins that use various materials with special attention paid to energy saving and eco-sustainability. This volume contains many of the highlights that come from the experiences lived during the CasaClima Master course run by the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano. It also works as an "instruction manual" for the planning and construction of projects using the X-lam system.
