Chris Distin
Born in Devon, England, Chris Distin has lived in Germany since 1989. His passion for the world of James Bond began in childhood and has remained with him ever since.
This passion led to the creation of an extensive collection of original props and production materials from the 007 films. Today, his collection comprises more than 500 items and has been presented in numerous exhibitions since 2009. Since 2016, parts of the collection have been on permanent display at the German Spy Museum in Berlin.
Distin is a recognised James Bond expert and has appeared on television on numerous occasions, as well as in radio and press interviews.
With James Bond – Golden Gun on Location, Chris Distin presents his first book, combining his decades-long involvement with the history of the Bond films with his expertise as a collector.
