A research team finds the first clues near Luxor. They follow the ancient trail of the sky people and learn things that had been forgotten for thousands of years.
Sarah Kroeger's first day on the job in the Valley of the Kings turns out to be more eventful than the archaeologist would have liked. Ancient papyrus scrolls which must be much older than previously known Egyptian history would allow are found in a secret cave. Sarah and Tom Tustra's archaeological team quickly realize that the military as well as an unknown group are also interested in the find. After a rush of unforeseen and dangerous events they must flee into the desert. While in hiding, they translate the texts and learn that Thoth is the real builder of the pyramids. Sarah and Tom follow the clues encoded in stone which had been placed there an infinitely long time ago by the so-called sky people. They penetrate into the secret chambers of the pyramids, where more puzzles await them. But finally they learn the true history of humanity – and how the fate of the king planet conjured up a huge disaster.
