The series is designed as a pathological guide to the diagnostic and treatment of oral diseases. Students, dentists and oral surgeons may use it as a helpful handbook for their studies as well as their practical work. Microscopic photographies showing the histological findings, illustrations and videos support the reader in identifiing the manyfold diseases in the oral cavity. The first volume is dedicated to the histology, identification and treatment of orofacial cysts. An updated bibliography is added, linked directly to pubmed.
