For one year Thomas Demand photo graphed a flower every day and put the pictures online. Now the floral splendour appears as a book in printed form. The unusual artist’s book was developed in close collaboration with the renowned Dutch designer Irma Boom. Following the model of a wall calendar for the year 2020 printed on thin paper, each of the 365 pictures is supplemented with a foldout and perforated calendarium, so that after its use as a calendar, the pure artist’s book is created – Life is a Flow.
