This dissertation presents key contributions to understanding alkalipolymer (AP) applications in the Austrian Matzen field and a Romanian field operated by OMV, with a focus on integrating microfluidics technology in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). The research demonstrates how microfluidics optimizes laboratory procedures, improves efficiency, and reduces operational costs. This work advances microfluidics technology on the Technology Readiness Level scale, offering a framework for future EOR research. The study highlights the scalability of microfluidics in reducing costs, accelerating EOR screening, and minimizing conventional lab investigations through quick, insightful micromodel experiments.
