Beschreibung

The MEMORY MAPS is the third part of a series of Handwritings, in which the artist Annette le Fort gathers memories different people have of one particular place in a city. Most of the maps show squares and other public places where people meet. The memories range from childhood recollections to historical events, with the entries written directly onto the spot where the events took place - adding, overlapping or contradicting each other - to form a collective diary.
