Metrological characteristics of the 1.6 GPa pressure multipliers have been determined experimentally. The multiplying ration of each multiplier has been determined against the PTB primary 200 MPa and 1GPa pressure balances. Theoretical data obtained from the FEM calculations in Chapter 5 have been compared to those obtained experimentally at pressure up to 1 GPa and optimal pressure distortion coefficients have been derived based on the theoretical an experimental results.
