The book tells the story how the village Bad Gastein – for centuries known for its goldmining and bathing culture – became "The City in the Alps". After its rise and fame in the 19th century Bad Gastein became famous again, for its decay at the end of the 20th century. In the last years new intentions seem to bring the spa town back to life. Enjoy reading the whole story!
