Energy transition and climate neutrality are complex topics that require expertise and innovative spirit. Yet, putting aside the mountain of technical knowledge necessary to engage in the fulfilment of such a challenge, even more complicated and complex challenges emerge on issues such as “how to involve citizens?” “how to make them a part of the solution?” and “how to ensure they can consistently live the solution?” It should go without saying that the mere creation of a technical solution isn’t sufficient when citizen cooperation is paramount to ensuring the longevity, efficiency, and sustainability of most projects.
