This book provides a thourogh addition to the Trochoidean family Colloniidae which resulted in the description of further 33 species. The family now comprises 4 subfamilies, 33 genera and 288 species. The vast material of this study was mainly collected during the various expeditions of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle Paris in the Indo-Pacific region.
