With “Winding Roads”, Judith Weintraub has - together with her husband, the painter Dan Weintraub, succeeded to write a book that in a short, almost aphoristic style tells of an initially failed but finally yet successful life. It is her own story and that of her husband.
In the past decades since 1972, the Jewish-Swiss family has experienced ups and downs, wars and reconciliations, death and new life, always sustained by a tremendous will to live, supported by friends, by their own family and by outstanding creativity. And - the longer the more obvious – by the hands of one who was and still is greater than they are by themselves.
Judith Weintraub
The author Judith Weintraub and her husband Dan are living in Switzerland. Now a pensioner, she can look back on an extremely eventful and demanding life. A life that she describes in her first book "Winding Roads" almost woodcut-like and with a lot of heart.
