This book contains summaries of the papers presented at 7th International Conference on Vortex Flows and Vortex Models (ICVFM 2016) held in 2016 from September 19th to 22nd in Rostock, Germany. This is the seventh conference in the series of the successful meetings commenced in Kobe in 1999 and continued in Istan- bul (2001), Yokohama (2005), Daejeon (2008), San Leucio (2010) and Nagoya (2014). The book is accompanied by a USB memory stick which contains full papers associated with summaries. On behalf of the University of Rostock and Organizing Committee I would like to express my appreciation to all participants of the 7th International Conference on Vortex Flows and Vortex Models ( ICVFM 2016) and to the authors for their valuable contributions to this book. I hope that this book will be of interest to a wide circle of readers.
