The notion of pneumatic phenomena is of much interest within contemporary Ghanaian Christianity. The reason is that Christianity in Ghana, like global Christianity, has been influenced by Pentecostal and Charismatic movements. The main aim of this dissertation is to examine the notion of pneumatic phenomena in contemporary Ghanaian Christianity with emphasis on the interpretation and appropriation of 1 Cor 12-14.
