In the context of Industrie 4.0, the action areas for businesses include increasing the level of automation and the development of new business models in which customer benefits are at the forefront. Industrie 4.0 leads to digital business models and processes. Based on this knowledge, work has to be newly defined. Changes in management and culture are the prerequisites for implementing Industrie 4.0. Rigid lines of management and strict divisions between individual departments have to be replaced by network thinking, work and management.
