LETARON ZERO CARBON INDUSTRY CAMPUS

The CAUP Tongji University and the Faculty of Architecture of the Technische Hochschule Köln worked together with the Chinese lighting manufacture LETARON Company to conduct an international student competition to improve research and project development so electric lighting can become more sustainable. In addition to the intercultural and international ex¬change of the partner universities and experts in¬volved, examines the task pioneering climate and environmentally sound development of industrial campus and industrial building. Within their design of an urban industrial site in Donguan City, South China, students are developing zero carbon buildings and exciting architectural ideas for future building effi¬ciency guidelines in China (2050) and Germany (2030).
