An adventure like you've never had before?” With that question, the vivacious Rosanna Sands draws German businessman Peter Berg into a search for her missing friend, a turbulent trip that sends the disparate twosome on an unexpected journey across Europe. In one illustrious setting after another—London, Rome, Madrid, Vienna—they encounter all kinds of inscrutable characters, hidden signs and mysterious symbols as they draw ever closer to discovering the real reasons for the woman’s disappearance. As the pieces begin to fall into place, many things suddenly begin appearing in a completely different light, until they find themselves questioning almost everything they once knew about the world… and landing squarely in the sights of those who will stop at nothing to prevent the truth from coming out.
