Model Project Haus der Statistik (Vol 2)

Beschreibung

Issue 2 of the brochure series focuses on the integrated workshop process of the Haus der Statistik model project. In fall 2018, the WERKSTATT opened as an on-site office on the site of the former House of Statistics and became the central location for the urban planning competition and numerous participation formats. In order to develop the urban design together with the city society, three planning teams worked on their designs over a period of six months, accompanied by many formats for informing, discussing and participating in decision-making. The winning design of Teleinternetcafe and Treibhaus Landscape Architecture was awarded by the Koop5 in 2019 and serves as the basis for the new development plan for the area. In issue 2, all the designs are illustrated with a comprehensive presentation of plans and visualizations.
