This book presents a collection of chords that Lisa Streich
has used in her pieces in the last decade.
She ‚found‘ each chord through listening to recordings of
Amateur and professional singers and choirs on the
iternet.
She was thereby seeking harmonic moments that are familiar
but have been given a special or unusual intonation,
intentionally or unintentionally.
The chords in this book, divided into 14 chapters representing
different expressions, are moments from these performances
that she has analyzed and transcribed.
The book consists of chords, photographs and texts
(in English, German, Swedish, Norwegian and French)
focusing on the expressions of each chapter, including
GLORIA, APFELSINE, LYS, DUNKELLILA to name
a few
