A note from the editor: Fight crime by joining together Many people have contributed time, money and energy to create this book. And we have all come to believe that by openly addressing the crime problems in America today, talking about them, and joining together to fight them, the problems can be effectively reduced. You can be a part of the solution, as well. First, by using the information and tools in this book to detect cons, thieves and cheaters, and thereby protecting yourself and your assets. Second, by sharing this information with your friends and family members so they can also protect themselves. Share this book with three people you trust. Ask them to be your "security pillow" by being your advisors and counsellors. Make an agreement with them that you will not make rash financial decisions without consulting your advisors first. Then when you are approached to buy something, invest in something, or otherwise hand over your money (security) to someone, you will have three trusted friends to advise you. They will have only your best interest in mind and give you honest feedback. Each of your advisors in turn constructs a "security pillow" with three trusted friends or family members of their own. By creating a network of friends which advise and counsel, a nationwide protection system can be developed.Remember the motto: "United we stand." If we do not stand together, we will be taken down one by one. But once we are not alone anymore, cons and cheaters will have a hard time using our positive emotions against us. We all want to reduce crime in our country and regain the feelings of security we have lost over the years. But we cannot do it individually. That's how we lose. Together we can beat the cons, thieves and cheaters by not being victims any more.
