Cyberspace – the original coining of the term is quite exciting. If you combine powerful and fast networks with virtual reality technology, this combines to a new society, an entire new world. This is what this book is about. It touches on some basic anthropological, philosophical, cultural and political aspects of this new world. Since we are just now about to enter a phase with VR-applications which are targeted to a mass audience and market as the „next big thing“, the idea of what this may become is more topical than ever.
