Beschreibung

Twenty years ago, in 1987, the ARGUS collaboration discovered the B meson mixing at the DORIS storage ring at DESY. Contrary to common belief at the time the observed mixing rate in the B meson system was substantial. The ARGUS observation opened a new Chapter in B physics which ist being written by present day´s experiments and will be continued well into the LHC era.
