It is the subtitle in this book and it could raise the doubts and questions?
Is it possible to be born twice?
My clear answer: it is not only possible, but it is necessary!
Once, similar question asked the notable man, Nicodemus.
Jesus explained him what it means:
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’” (John 3:6-7)
There is fleshly birth – and everyone knows it, but there is also spiritual birth
– and not everybody knows about it. This lack of knowledge is one of the greatest tragedies.
Without spiritual birth – and this is the matter of being bound with the Holy Spirit
– no one has chance for the eternal life with God and fulfilment on the earth.
Spiritual birth is like fleshly one:
it is entering the new reality, the environment and atmosphere of the Holy Spirit,
it is the beginning of “breathing” with new, spiritual life.
The wonderful example of such existential dualism, fleshly and spiritual,
is Paul from Tarsus … and Damascus. In first place he was born fleshly,
close to the second place he was born spiritually.
It is very interesting subject for everyone, who searches after the truth of life or wants to deepen it!
I belong to this second group and I have decided to study Paul in a unique way:
through the bicycle tours on all his trails. That is how “Project Paul” started.
At the beginning I was cycling between two birthplaces of Paul:
Tarsus and Damascus.
I share my experiences in reportage-popular form,
because I wish that everyone could read this book.
