European and international copyright protection

This studiy is concerned with the question of the boundary of copyright in matters of international and especially european co-operation amongst libraries. The basis of the work is a paper written for the MWK in Hannover (Lower Saxony´s Ministry of Science and Culture) in the context of the EROMM-Project (Europiean Register of Microform Masters). The original paper has been reworked and somewhat extended. The goal of this study is to give lawyers and libray workers an overview of international copyright law. Solutions are offered to specific, practical problems. It would be a bonus if copyright matters were to be accorded greater consideration.
