Witness testimonies and comments by participants and guests of imaginary institution on the first anniversary of the Open Air Museum of Decoloniality at Alexanderplatz.
This book was created as a collection of visitor testimonials. We invited visitors to the Open Air Museum of Decoloniality to tell us in any form about their visit, to share their memories with us. And already during this work of collecting the witnesses, the process of reflection revealed that we ourselves have been witnesses all this year. We have been witnessing what Alexanderplatz are - a public space (or marketplace?), a Soviet square in contemporary Germany in the middle of migrants flows and the social processes that are taking place. And many of these processes are not nice. The book consists of witnesses and commentaries and is itself a witness to social changes.
