L. Ron Hubbard
Lafayette Ronald Hubbard Lafayette Ronald Hubbard was born on March 13, 1911 in Tilden, Nebraska. He spent his childhood on a cattle ranch in Montana. When the family moved to the Far East, Hubbard had the opportunity to study Eastern philosophies at a very early age. His wealthy grandfather enabled him to travel to Asia and broaden his horizons. The impressions he gained there as a young man had a lasting impact on him. His irrepressible spirit of research and his great thirst for knowledge drove him throughout his life. The central theme was always the desire to understand human nature and to analyze the laws of behavior in order to draw conclusions about how mental barriers could be removed to give people full access to their abilities. At the age of 19, Hubbard returned to America and studied at Washington University, where he took one of the first courses in nuclear physics. He earned his living as a student as a writer, but his passion remained the study of the human mind. The Second World War did not leave him unscathed either; in 1944 he was deployed to the Philippines. The injuries he sustained during his deployment only deepened his research and did not deter him from his plans. On the contrary, he used his own condition to test the methods he was working on and to restore his own physical and mental health. In 1950 he published the book "Dianetics - the modern science of mental health", a book on the anatomy of the human mind with precise instructions for treating traumatic experiences. A milestone. In this work he presented the results of his almost 20 years of research and at the same time presented a working method that can be used by everyone. The book was a great success. To conduct further research, the Dianetics Research Foundation was founded, which paved the way for Scientology, a further development of Dianetics, dedicated to improving people's own abilities. Dianetics and Scientology boomed and groups that worked with these methods emerged everywhere. Over the years, a worldwide association, the Church of Scientology, was formed. Hubbard expressly rejected cooperation with organizations that wanted to use Scientology to manipulate people. His goal was to develop a path that was viable for everyone and that would lead to freedom from undesirable mental barriers, to the core nature of each individual. It was not about creating a perfect person, but rather to enable everyone to be themselves. In 1966, Hubbard withdrew from official duties in the Church of Scientology to concentrate fully on his research. He delegated more and more responsibility to deputies, which ultimately led to the undermining of his organization. Hubbard's absence from the leadership had dire consequences. A gradual process began, culminating in changes in methods, ever higher prices, and ever stricter restrictions for members. From the end of the 70s to the mid-80s, many highly trained practitioners were either excluded from the Church of Scientology or they themselves left the organization that had been their spiritual home for many years. Finally, in 1984, Capt. Bill Robertson founded the "Free Zone," an association of Scientologists who wanted to use Hubbard's original methods for themselves and others freely and without the control of the Church of Scientology. A friendly association without hierarchies, but rather designed as a network. Ron's Org is a community within this association that works worldwide to lead people to more spiritual freedom and self-determination using the path developed by Hubbard. Hubbard had not appeared in public in these last years, and the connection to him had been broken off. The cause of his death and the year of his death are not really known. He probably died in the 1970s, the Church of Scientology puts his death year as 1986. As with every important personality who brought progress and change, L. Ron Hubbard is surrounded by many myths and legends. Anyone who does not have first- or second-hand data cannot really judge what is true or false. The spectrum ranges from universal savior to malic
