Le présent volume se propose de rendre hommage au grand judéo-hispanologue Haïm Vidal Sephiha (Paris) qui a consacré sa vie à étudier les traductions de la Bible en judéo-espagnol (ladino). Ce volume contient 40 articles dédiés à l'histoire, à la littérature, à la sociologie, à la langue et à la musique des Sépharades. Le tout forme un panorama fascinant de la vie sépharade, auquel ont contribué des chercheurs venant de Jérusalem ainsi que de New York, de Séville et de Naples.
