Beschreibung
„Connective Tissues“ is a collection of fragmented poetry written over the past three years. The work draws from dreams, water mythologies, nature, ancestral cosmologies and childhood memories of playing in the mountains where I grew up, as well as from community, walking and travel, being uprooted, replanted and stinging nettle bushes. It is shaped by the people and stories from where I come from, an attempt to read, interpret and perform my surroundings as a kind of living archive. Growing up without light pollution, the night sky, dreams, premonitions of past and present, ghost stories became an early and enduring influence, among many other themes woven throughout the work.
