Hans-Georg Rabacher, Jahrgang 1982, ist Berufs- und Linienpilot, Unternehmer und Autor. Er entdeckte im Kindes- und Jugendalter seine Liebe zur Luftfahrt. Als Pilot steuert er regelmäßig internationale Ziele an und blickt auf langjährige Erfahrungen mit vielen unterschiedlichen Flugzeugtypen zurück, darunter der exklusive Privat- und Businessjet »Bombardier Challenger 350« sowie Passagierflugzeuge der Airbus-A320-Familie. Im Verlauf seiner fliegerischen Karriere arbeitete Hans-Georg Rabacher als Fluglehrer in verschiedenen Ausbildungsbetrieben, davon sechs Jahre lang im Management einer der größten Flugschulen Mitteleuropas. Als Mitglied im Auswahlkomitee einer Fluggesellschaft war er in die fachliche Beurteilung des angehenden Cockpitpersonals eingebunden. Sein Wissen und die Begeisterung für das Fliegen gibt der Autor in der Berufsberatung an junge Menschen weiter. Neben seiner Funktion als Checkpilot ist er bis heute als Lehrer und Vortragender in der Ausbildung von Flugbegleitern, Privat- und Berufspiloten sowie angehenden Fluglehrern tätig.
