Michael Jochum’s black-and-white photography comes from an inner need and an ongoing creative process. His image sequences go beyond what is shown: portraits, objects, and landscapes tell dreamlike stories. Gemischter Satz is a type of wine made from different grapes, harvested and fermented together. This idea is a metaphor for the book, where photos from various series are rearranged. An independent literary text by Anna Weidenholzer accompanies the artist’s book.
