On 7 and 8 May 2015 a thematic workshop on the
use of electronic tools in the context of citizens’
participation was hosted, within the framework of
the annual Central and Eastern European e|Dem
and e|Gov Days in Budapest, by the Austrian
member of the CDDG, strongly supported by the
Hungarian member. About twenty Member States
of the Council of Europe took the opportunity to
present their national developments. In this volume
most of the presentations are assembled,
thus providing a representative overview on the
“current state” of play in this field.
