Why are people entering parenthodd at older and older ages? In this study, behavioral scientist Percy A. Rohde addresses this question with an approach involving evolutionary, developmental, and cultural perspectives. He provides evidence that the postponement of parenthood is partly a result of a mismatch between behavioral patterns that evolved deep in human history and the cultural environment we choose to live in.
