It’s Terrific! Kurt Schwitters (1887–1948) gave this title to a collage of paper snippets, letters of the alphabet and motifs from ads, created by the artist in 1944 during British exile. This fascinating addition to the Würth Collection provides the sound, structure and title of the opulent exhibition at Museum Würth 2. From Liebermann to Basquiat, familiar highlights from the Collection, to the most recent acquisitions from artists such as Ackermann, Balkenhol, Beckmann, Matta, Munch, Kiefer and Kupka, this exhibition creates a new dialogue in the collection of over 20,000 works.
