The objective of this work is an extensive analysis of the basic characteristics of adsorbtion/incineration processes. The development of novel process configurations avoiding the shortcomings of the conventional process variants is demonstrated. The basic analysis is based upon simplified models and numerical simulations studies. An experimental verification with laboratory set-up is presented for the example of styrene vapour adsorbtion.
