EUROMET.M.V-K3 key intercomparison of liquid viscosoty measurements

Beschreibung

As a result of the agreement on the "Mutual recognition of national measurement standards and of measurement certificates issued by national metrology institutes" (MRA), intercomparison measurements have acquired very great importance. In recent years (since 1993), three viscosity intercomparison projects have been carried out within the framework of EUROMET covering part of the relevant ranges of viscosity and measurement conditions (temperature). The number of participants increased from four in the first intercomparison 1993 to 12 in the recent project, which was organised in spring 2000. This recent intercomparison was carried out according to the rules laid down for the MRA and was accepted as a regional key comparison.
