The CD-ROM provides the user with highly effective support in selection of power cables for the low and medium-voltage ranges. It offers the following functions: - user-oriented selection of basic designs - display of the selected design and its components and information about possible variants - display of important project planning data relevant to the selected cable type - easy calculation of current carrying capacity, short circuit capacity and voltage drop, complimented by an integrated project planning support. The CD-ROM provides a convenient interface and a clear hierarchy, enabling safe and quick planning of cable connections. Nearly each screen page of the CD-ROM allows direct access to additional explanations and instructions, e.g.: - useful know-how on application engineering - references to significant standards - detailed explanations to the project planning data.
