This thesis is a contribution to the effects of climate change on agricultural production and the enhancement of climate resilience of smallholder farmers in Kenya. Specifically, it aimed at analysing farmers’ perception of the effects of climate change on AIV production 2) examining climate change adaptation strategies of AIV farmers 3) evaluating the adaptive capacity of AIV farmers 4) analysing the factors that determine the choice of climate change adaptation strategies.
