With tenacious candour and pleasure in experimentation, the Humboldt Lab Dahlem spent four years supporting the exhibition planning process for the Berliner Schloss. How can non-European art and culture be exhibited there in a way that is in step with the times?
This publication documents and reflects the Lab’s projects, thus contributing to the museum’s social significance in the twenty-first century.
Featuring introductions by Hortensia Völckers and Hermann Parzinger, as well as contributions by Irene Albers, Friedrich von Bose, Larissa Förster, Martin Heller, Stefan Kaegi, Noelle M.K.Y. Kahanu, Harald Katzmair, Viola König, Sharon Macdonald, Bettina Probst, Klaas Ruitenbeek, Philipp Schorch, Juri Steiner, Timothy W.
