A well celebrated liturgy brings about tremendous joy and transformation. It aims at and promotes active, conscious and plenary participation of the members. It effects the up-lifting of the soul and mind, the transformation of the individuals onto sanctification, edification of the church, and ultimate glorification of God shown in life-witnessing.
On-going liturgical formation and information are necessary for the celebrants and the people of God for both of them to be current, and thus save the liturgical actions from archaism and routine syndrome. Recent developments in the area of liturgy must be reflected in the celebrations as evidence of thinking and feeling with the church by all concerned.
