Mechatronic Simulation Approach for the Process Planning of Energy-Efficient Handling Systems

Die konventionelle Prozessplanung von Handhabungssystemen beinhaltet keine Energieverbrauchsanalyse von Handhabungsmaschinen. Daher bestehen noch zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, um den Energieverbrauch dieser Maschinen zu reduzieren. In diesem Buch wird ein mechatronischer Simulationsansatz vorgestellt, der für die Analyse des Systemverhaltens und des Energieverbrauchs von Handhabungsgeräten eingesetzt werden kann. Die Fallstudie am Beispiel einer Fertigungszelle zeigt, dass Planungsingenieure mit diesem Ansatz in der Lage sind, den Energieverbrauch von Industrierobotern bis zu 20% zu reduzieren.
The conventional process planning of handling systems does not involve energy consumption analysis of handling machines. Therefore, many opportunities are still available in order to reduce the energy consumption of those machines. In this book, a mechatronic simulation approach that is used to analyze the system behavior and energy consumption of handling machines is presented. The case study on a manufacturing cell shows that using this approach, planning engineers are able to reduce the energy consumption of industrial robots up to 20%.
