The book shows an effective way to get type two diabetes under control by a change of diet. It is a very good base of information and can easily be read even by a novice. The author informs the reader fully in no time what a change in diet can cause. She also writes uncomplicated and free of superfluous technical terms. Compared to other, often in a very dry and stiff way written guidebooks, this book easily guides people with diabetes and leads into the low-carb world.

My name is Doris Linden and I am 56 years old.
For about 8 years I am diabetic type II! For 6 years I inject insulin. My long-term value was 10.7, the highest daily value was measured 562. My doctor spoke of insulin resistance. I was advised to the book "Suddenly diabetes”. In early October 2009 I started my diet switch. I ate no bread, potatoes, pasta, rice anymore. My blood sugar level at that time had an average of 262. On 6 October was my first day of fasting and BS was 260. The beginning was made. On 17 October my sober BS showed 113. In the 2nd Week I already noted: No heartburn, no bloating, less sweat, better sleep at night, not that terrible fatigue during the day. However, I must say I already “deviated a few times from the path”. And I realized that bread doesn’t suit me. Now I can eat onions, garlic and cabbage. I can stand that well. On 19 November my BS levels were at 80 to 105 and on 21 November, I'm from even with 2 x 15 units correction insulin per day.
Author Sabine Beuke from Bremen writes about the book:
Thanks to the valuable tips from Ms. Schütz, I can enjoy my life again. I have suffered for years from massive intestinal problems!
The doctors tried to treat the symptoms but the cause remained unclear. Because of the books by Jutta Schütz I changed my diet. My condition gradually improved and I'm free from my bowel problems today.
The newspaper Berliner Kurier writes in a lengthy article (26/01/2010) about the author Jutta Schütz that she had got the disease under control without medication and introduces the "All of a sudden: Diabetes!" as a book tip.
(“Bild der Frau”, BNN and other newspapers reported late last year in similar reports on the author Jutta Schütz.)
The company BLF Lifestyle (B. Legien Flandergan) Cologne:
Anyone who knows he often has problems with his blood sugar fluctuations should read this little book. I'm thrilled. With this book I have a great showcase for people with diabetes. I have already passed it with successful feedback from diabetes patients. I particularly like that these are small books, relaxed written and read quickly.
