Kerstin-Anja Münderlein is a research assistant at the Department of English Literature at the University of Bamberg. She has published on parody and the Gothic Novel in the long eighteenth century as well as the poetry of the Great War. In this publication, she covers the use of parody as a means of political criticism in the parodic works of English Gothic writer and art collector William Beckford (1760-1844).
