Beschreibung

The tried and tested Textile Auxiliaries Buyer’s Guide (TAG) was activated as an online version in2001. This online version is constantly updated by textile auxiliaries producers. The combination of the printed version of TAG with the online version is new. With the acquisition of the newly revised TAG, the specialist also gains access to the online version with its manifold research possibilities. ///// The newly developed TAG provides an overview of more than 6500 commercial products based on 400 to 600 active components. The 11th edition of this standard work, which first appeared in 1965, has now been published in a completely revised, modernized and redesigned form by Melliand Textilberichte (Frankfurt/Germany) in collaboration with the German Association of Manufacturers of Textile and Leather Auxiliaries, Tanning and Detergent Raw Materials (TEGEWA). The guide id published in English and German. ///// The classification of products conforms to the well-established TEGEWA nomenclature of textile auxiliaries. The guide provides information on the product names and their manufacturers, details of their application, properties and the effects achievable with each product. Details of the active components used in the formulation of a particular product are given under the column headed "chemical basis". This information is sufficient for an initial overview. The user can obtain much more comprehensive information from the technical information leaflets and safety data sheets provided by the respective manufacturers. The categorized product listing is supplemented by a complete index of suppliers as well as an alphabetical product index. ///// The information provided in the column headed "chemical basis" is based on standard terms which have been compiled by experts of the TEGEWA association. Manufacturers can therefore describe their products precisely and avoid the use of less meaningful terms. As a result, a large number of synonymous descriptions have been replaced by characteristic terms. As far as legislation for the protection of brand names and trade marks is concerned, the entry of commercial names, trade names, brand names, etc. in this guide even without specific identification, may not be construed as implying that such names can be considered free or may be used without restraint. /////The guide makes no claim to being exhaustive. The 11th edition is identical with the contents of the online version from September 2006. No liability for the correctness or completeness of any information contained in this guide is assumed by the publishers. A constant update of the contents takes place through www.thk-online.com. * Auxiliaries and finishing agents for fibres and yarns ** * Pretreatment agents ** * Textile auxiliaries for dyeing and printing ** * Finishing assistants ** * Technical auxiliaries for multipurpose use in the textile industry ** * Drycleaning auxiliaries ** * Other "auxiliaries" ** * Supplier Index ** * Product-Index **
