The Edward Ruscha Catalogue Raisonné of the Paintings comprises seven volumes under the editorship of Robert Dean and Lisa Turvey. Volume 4 documents 198 paintings from 1988 to 1992, and includes a comprehensive exhibition history, bibliography, and biographical chronology, as well as a text by artist Mel Bochner and an essay by art historian Briony Fer.

Ed Ruscha
Ed Ruscha wurde 1937 in Omaha/Nebraska geboren und wuchs in Oklahoma auf. Er studierte am Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles. Sein Werk wird weltweit ausgestellt und ist Bestandteil vieler bedeutender Museen und Sammlungen. Ed Ruscha, der an vier documenta-Ausstellungen teilnahm, ist Mitglied der American Academy of Arts and Letters. Er lebt in Los Angeles.
