Companies collect more and more data to increase their productivity. The growth of data requires an easy and systematic data use. Thus, the thesis strives at developing a model that interconnects manufacturing data to enable an automated KPI generation for energy and resource consumption monitoring. A model fulfilling the needs of a manufacturing SME has been developed. The rough model displays the approach how to acquire, preprocess and use data by the push of a button.
